Heat Treament

We conduct heat treament processes for alteration of the physical and sometimes the chemical properties of the materials. This service is made available to our customers.

Heat Treament Techniques Conducts

Anealing - To increase material ductility and reduce its hardness for ease of workability and machining purposes. The material will be heated above its recrystalization temperature, maintaining a suitable temperature for an amount of time, and then cooling.

Hardening - Hardening is desirable for metal components that are subject to sliding contact with hard or abrasive materials, as the hardened metal is more resistant to surface wear.

Normalising is a heat treatment process which alters the microstructure of a material to change it mechanicals or electrical propeties. Typically it aims to give steel a uniform and fine grain structure. After casting a steel microstructure is often unhomogeneous consisting in large grain and unwanted bainite and carbides. After normalising a more fine grain homoeous structure is obtained.

What are the 3 stages of heat treatment process?

The stages of the heat treatment process include heating, soaking, and cooling.
